I have an account on pepperfry since a long time back more then a year or so. The first time I used the site and thought that they are the new comers in market and will raise their standards well or at least will make it up to the market standards but to opposite to my expectation[ I may expected toooooo much] this is the only online store I have seen who is not agree to change it.


Even today also I tried to place an order on the site , tried for around 3 hrs and then I made a call to customer care to place the order. surprisingly the customer care person told me to place another order after some time though he was able to see my pending orders in order list.


I have tried 2 more times , the same result ... now the very intelligent customer care person has given me answer ..


" There is some issue with your system , clear all the cookies and cache [ may be history too] , close all the browser window. uninstall the browser. Don't use Chrome, don't use Firefox[ these are the only 2 browser I have and may be I told him , hence he is telling me to do so] and then try again to place the order.


Like I dont have nything else to do with my laptop , for placing an order on pepperfry , I should clear all my passwords , my auto connection histories , my office data , my plugin controls . The interesting thing was - I was able to add product in the cart and at the time I was trying to make payment , while it was redirecting to payment server it was getting disconnected. so if your site can work with some connection speed , your payment server should work also on the same. I told him all other sites like eBay, Shopclues , Snapdeal are working very fine , even other billing sites also but he said its your fault . do all this exercise and even if the problem occurs send me the screen shot , we will try to look into that. WOW ... like I don't have any other work in the world to make purchase on pepperfry.


I told him that the product will be out of stock while doing this and this is not the resolution , he has not provided any answer to that.


First of all if any customer facing any issue while placing order they should have provide alternatives for this , like COD or IVR or something like that


Seems They don't know basics of customer handling.


Beside this their shipping and delivery time is tooooo much compare to other web-stores.


They never accept their mistake.


They always try to provide pepperfry points then the real money , if in case they need to return.


pepperfry listing price of products is always higher then other portals , seems their marketing and store mangement team needs to do some more work
