These guys are exactly like OYO, which is a pathetically horrible startup who do adhere to even the most basic levels of customer service.
In a section like Furniture, its just foolish to order online.
But, unfortunately, I had recently done exactly that, and ordered a dressing table from Pepperfry. Despite committing, the delivery person didn't come on the first day.
On the second day too, I had to persuade the customer care a lot, to make them deliver. Pepperfry customer care wants you to sit for 4-5 days at home, just waiting for the ordered furniture to come, despite paying the money in advance. After the product was delivered, the mirror was found broken. So, my fight for a refund starts now.
Ultimate result is an endless months long battle in the consumer court. In India's corrupt environment, these kind of companies thrive. So, if you expect service like Amazon or even Flipkart, you are mistaken. Save yourself from Pepperfry, its much better to buy furniture from an actual store.
