I had placed an order for Inpro Hi-Life Mixer Grinder vide order no 100416745 with online shopping retailer Pepperfry.com on 13/12/12 that was subsequently shipped and delivered by Quantum to my home address in Kolkata.
Since I am currently located in Hyderabad I could not check the item on its delivery. Later, when I visited home I found the item that was delivered does not match the brand that was originally ordered, a low quality and an inferior product with much lesser capacity and non-ISI marked. On top of it, also turned out to be defective one and was emitting smoke when put to use.
Till date we have not been able to use it for a single instance. I have earlier talked to Pepperfry's customer care centre where the executive told me the item will neither be replaced nor my money refunded as it was post the review period. I have written to the company highlighting my problem but am yet to receive any response.
In response to my latest mail, I received an automated message from salesforce.com on behalf of Pepperfry.com that they cannot take the product back as it is more than 30 days old.
