I urge upon all the buyers to make proper survey before making any purchase from pepperfry as off late this company is putting a trap in the name of huge discounts to the prospective buyers however these items are basically the rejected items which are returned by the lucky buyers who could locate the problems before one year of guarantee and had returned to the company.
We are the unlucky lot who could not locate and when we found the defect it was over one year and when pointed out to the company they were very rude and bluntly told that after one year we can not accept your complaint. We asked them after paying so much money for the wooden furniture how come defects and huge cracks are appearing in the dining table on that they did not reply.they have a standard reply that we are referring your case to the CONCERNED TEAM which ends with a standard reply from their customer care unit that we are sorry and this is not under warranty anymore after crossing one year hence can't do anything.
We called local carpenter then we came to know that it was a defective item prepared from wet wood that's why such huge cracks have emerged. He also suggested that we need to change the entire table top to bring it to a decent level.
I am sharing this after seeing the various ads the company is coming out there days to help others to make a survey before purchasing.
We all earn money after putting in hard work and we deserve good items when we are paying so much money for the wooden product in particular.
I have shared my concerns in the pefferfry app and FACE BOOK also to make the consumers aware of these missdoings
