Order number is 300565553. Pepperfry was supposed to ship the item by Oct 28th, 2014, but failed to do that. No one called me, I didn't receive any communication regarding the failure to ship on time.
Since they got the money before hand, I got the feeling they were not being proactive in fulfilling the order or intimating the customer about status.
When I called customer care number, agents said that they need two days time to tell me what would be the new "ship by date". When I asked them to connect me to a supervisor, I was told that I will receive a call in 48 hours. I got the feeling, for every thing I ask, they need lot of time to respond or to get the work done. It is already 25 days since I made the full payment, so I am in a hurry to get the item or money.
This company operates very, very slowly. In my experience, it is the slowest online company I have ever seen(I have been shopping online for a long time!).
If you have lot of patience(to tolerate slow processes and indifference towards customers), Pepperfry may work out ok for you.I will never ever visit their website!
