I am writing this review from my personal experience with Pepperfry.com. I order a product on pepperfry, com and it was not shipped during their promised time frame of 8 working days (you can consider as 14 weekday). My product was not shipped so I contacted their customer they told that the product will be shipped today it self by 7pm. But it did not shipped.
Again next day I called the same answer. And again did not shipped. They were just fooling me and and I was being fooled as I had already paid the amount. I asked them to cancel the order then answer was it will take 48 hours to cancel the order and after that 8-10 working days to realize payment (again 15- 20 weekday but not guarantee how long it will take). But twist came when after two day my order was not cancelled but suddenly my order got shipped as per perrerfry . Then I again waited for another 5 day but it did not got delivered. It was showing shipped through DTDC courier. But DTDC was not able to track the courier. So I believe again they were fooling me by giving some random courier tracking number but not shipping actually product. Again I called there great customer case service (which is waste of time and waste of your phone bill as they don't provide toll free number and it will take at least 10 minutes to wait in queue to reach their agents. ) Now I again I asked them why my order did not got cancel they said it cant be cancelled as it is already shipped (But dont know if it actually shipped or just fake courier tracking number) and it can be cancelled only if I deny the delivery of product and the product reach to them back and there after it can be cancelled. But how can I deny delivery, courier was not being delivered to my me though they have shipped.
And their customer service are so senseless, they don't know how to speak with customer. One of their agent claims they are million rupees company so that they cant play with my few thousand rupees. They only knows with how many people's few thousand rupees they become million rupees company. Their chat service is worst as they will end chat if they don't want to answer the query of customer.
I am writing this review as I don't want others to fall in trouble with such kind of fraud people. So be aware and stay away from buying any thing from pepperfry.com.
