Have recently bought a 21999/- battery operated bike for my 6 year old son, the advertiser " jay bike" from ahmedhabad had written a description of the bike that is good enough for kids between 4- 8 years, having bought the bike we realized the following points:
a. bike is too small for a six year old - at best a 4 year old can drive it as height is too low
b. extremely dangerous bike, on the first when the child put it on there was a big spark and smoke came out from the ignition
We raised an objection about the bike with paytm guys, have avoided taking anyyyyyy kind of responsbility on the their heads, they have taken full advance payment and now are just corresponding through mails that we are looking into the matter. we even asked them the number of the vendor so that, time which was being wasted could be avoided which they refused to give, so we had to google and find the vendor online and then we spoke to him. He another character, has again avoided and responsibility and saying PAYtm guys will only look into the matter. Paytm personnel saying - we have no courier tie up in yout city( which is so absurd as nagpur is a big metro and ALL major courier companies are placed here, we raised an objection that since the bike was delivered by courier how is it that courier is not available to pick the defective piece back. - no reponse,
They are now wanting us to courier it back to the vendor( a 20 kg bike) and are saying we will only pay 200 ruppes maximum for the courier, and payment will be returned to us only if vendor accepts responsibilty
the reason im putting up the review is . please avoid the purchase of this bike - its useless and definately not worth the money. and its DANGEROUS, what both the vendor and paytm guys are not understanding is that a person who is willing to buy a 22000 bucks TOY from an online store should make sure their after sales service is intact, my child sees the bike everyday and he is not able to ride it which make me so sad.
