I have quite a few bad experience with PayTM and very few good ones. But one of their particular strategy is ridiculous.
They transfer the money back to Paytm wallet even when they cancel the order or when they fail to deliver it. There is no guarantee that they will ship the product in the first place! The bad experiences has kept me away from them.
So I will share my bad experiences. As they had 18% cashback on laptops, my friend purchased a laptop from them. After waiting for 10 days and after receiving so many sorry for delay emails, they canceled the order and returned almost 30, 000Rs to Paytm wallet. They had disabled transfer to bank option and they charge 4% fee for transferring to bank. WTF should we do with almost 30, 000Rs in Paytm wallet?
Why the hell should we pay 4% charge for transferring to bank because of their incapability of delivering the product? For their mistake, we are being charged and fooled while they are making money. This made me not to buy anything more than 1000Rs-2000Rs on Paytm. Having thousands of rupees in Paytm wallet does not help anyone. You cannot even use that money even when you are in emergency.
