PAYTMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Review on Paytm

Ideally Paytm is supposed to be the competitor to payment gateways with its alternate and tempting cashback mode of payment, however all they are involved in is Cheating customers in the name of E-Commerce.

Products are mostly high priced compared to other website however with the cash back they provide, the pricing gap is nullified.

Wait.

The gap is reduced only if you get the cashback on time.I havent got mine even though I upgraded my account in PAYTM. Imagine I have shopped for more than 70, 000 in one go and I used to get the cash back till a certain limit. Then I was asked to upgrade my account which I did however the pain starts here. Upgrading your account is just an eyewash to buy time for the cash back which is with them to be delayed.

Any idea what happens to such excess cash the Paytm has for thousands and thousands of customers.i assume there is something Fishy in this scenario.

Secondly the delivery time and tracking mechanism is from my ancestral era. They will take at least 9 days to 16 days to deliver one product which in websites like Amazon you get it in a day or two. Delivery again sucks

Third, If you have to contact customer service then you have to do so with your registered mobile number(god knows whats the science behind it). The IVR(interactive voice response) again will take it's own time to speak out the automated stuff. Dude I stay in Mumbai and if I have to spend 30 mins on an STD call whats the use?

Somehow if you manage to go ahead of IVR, you have to be on wait to speak to a Human being for ages and by luck if you manage to get one, the disaster begins.

Standard Statement, "I APOLOGIES FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED" however they are least apologetic as they have not even thought for a second what is the customer saying and why. Then they have their regular standard verbiage of"LEMME TRACK YOUR SHIPMENT" and then after few minutes, "I APOLOGIES FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED BUT THE SHIPMENT IS ON ITS WAY". For heaven sake I know the shipment is on its way but where the hell is it?

Then they promise call back and guess what you get a callback as promised.WOW.

Wait guys Picture abhi baaki hai,

The call back is dummy call back with no one other side but blank and you keep on yelling hello, hello hellooooooooo however no reply. and this is not once or twice however n number of times.

I have tried contacting customer service through their website however guess what, They only permit 1 compaint every 3 minutes.ha ha ha

Now can some one tell me the science behind this.

All in all, if you wish to shop through Paytm then MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

PAYTM is now giving an open challenge to other websites like SHOPCLUES in terms of giving customers run for their Money.
