I know there is too much buzz about paytm and its app etc given the demonetization situation. The Biggest problem with Paytm is they do not give their customer care phone number. I repeat "THEY DO NOT GIVE THEIR CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER". I have tried all options and all places on their app as well as website and could not find their phone number.
WHY DO YOU NEED PHONE NUMBER? - Well They took my money and never recharged the phone. I kept on sending them emails from their app as well as website and they keep replying with automated replies with some bullshit it in. I was asking simple question, why it is taking 5 days to recharge and if you can not then cancel it and refund. As of writing this review I am not able to contact them and get the order to cancel. AND There is no phone number to call.
My amount was small but I have read reviews and complaints about big amounts like 1000/- or even 5000/- here. SO PLEASE BEWARE. DO NOT PUT LOT OF MONEY IN IT AND RISK IT.
In my opinion, THE COMPANY THAT DOES NOT GIVE ITS PHONE NUMBER SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED FOR MONEY RELATED THINGS.
