I am using Paytm since last 10 years I was not so frequent user of Paytm but since lock down I started using it very frequently as there is always cash withdrawals issues in bank atm.
And now a days almost all the merchants are accepting online QR payments so it has become very convenient rather then carry cash or have issue with change to purchase any small amount products.
As many people are still not aware that even Paytm has a Zero balance account within its app. The only issue is they provide you virtual debit card for shopping you cant withdraw cash from Paytm saving account or from wallet balance.
If you need physical debit card then they charge you Rs.250 from your wallet or Paytm Saving AC Balance but I am not sure that even with physical debit card can you withdraw the amount as I never applied for it.
The best option is you can transfer your Paytm Bank money to your other saving bank account without any charges.
in the app they have mentioned that we can visit to nearby Paytm bank merchants to withdraw the cash but trust me guys yesterday I visited more than 6 merchants and all said they have stopped Paytm services as I mentioned above that we can transfer to our other bank account and withdraw from our atm card but yesterday there was server error in all the atms in my area so I just thought to share my experience with Paytm.
