I loved them for years, until this year and the new Buyer Protection started. I had a perfect reputation NOT 1 single dispute in 3years and 100, 000’s of$ each year processed with Paypal. I offered Paypal and my own merchant provider.
A buyer purchased from us and paid for the item and picked the cheapest slowest shipping option. She then contacted us 3 months later to say the item never arrived and she wanted refund. I check the tracking in the USA and it showed tracking not available for Thailand. So I tracked on Thailand Post, It says out for delivery —- Recipient Moved No forwarding.
It had made it there in 4 weeks and she has moved in 3 weeks(our products are for relocating) So I sent money to her via PAYPAL SEND MONEY for the items purchase price since refund was no longer an option for this old of transaction.
Buyer insisted she get the shipping refunded as well, I refused. She did dispute and I got all documents including USPS international tracking from my Post Office showing shipped same day and cleared US customs in 2 days so we were very prompt.
SHE WON… entire amount was refunded including the product purchase price I had already sent to her for a second time. BIG FRICKEN rip off that a USA perfect seller with exceptional reputation with all the documents I provided still buyer wins and actually gets a bonus double payment for her item. I removed them as 2nd option that minute from my site and am happy to do so. They offer absolutely no seller protection and will completely veto your return/order policies. Even if the buyer is completely at fault.
With this type of policy a buyer can order something cheap with very expensive Overnight service and then refuse to accept the package the next day and the merchant would be responsible for the entire amount refunded including the HUGE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING FEE. It is Crazy and MAKES no sense
