All, Please be careful in you are redeeming on Payback and you are unlucky to have ICICI Bank. It seems every time you redeem even 100 points you will be charged INR.99+ Service Tax. This is a great way the freaking ICICI bank mints our money.
I Spoke to ICICI and it seems that even if it is points you have earned from some other place, like HPCL, AMEX Card or even on-line retailers ICICI will take 99 from our account. Be very careful when you redeem. I redeemed 1000 Points or(INR.250/-) on Payback.in and they charged me INR.99+12.24) as charges and in the end my total points redeemed was only INR.138. Now comes the best part they don't charge it immediately they wait for three months and then only charge the customers.
All be careful about this and ICICI. They are the best cheaters available. Go Ahead and close your linked Payback account and open a new account that does not have any ICICI Bank card(both Debit and Credit) linked to your account.
