I recently travelled Mumbai to Goa and back with Paulo Travels. I decided to go by Paulo because the fares were economical compared to other similar travels. I booked the Semi Sleeper (Slumber) Multi Axel Volvo from Mira Road. The bus began it journey on time at 4:45pm. The bus was nice and comfortable, the seats reclined far enough. But let me inform you that if you’re tall (around 5.8ft or more) you will get uncomfortable.

The bus reached Panvel around 9pm which was the last pick up. At this point they showed a pirated copy of a movie with the speakers turned up, quite irritating if you wish to nap. The bus stopped for dinner at Hotel Indraprast around 11pm. The hotel was not up to mark, the service was very slow, and menu was restricted. The bus reached Sawntwadi in the wee hrs of the morning and started the drop points from there on. The bus reached Margaon at around 8am the next day.

My return journey was after a days halt. I booked the same bus departure Margaon at 6:15 pm. The journey was similar to the one mentioned above only we stopped for dinner in Kudal at around 9:30pm. The hotel only served Chicken thalli( 100/-) and Veg Thalli (80/-) not worth it at all. Nothing else was available. The bus reached Panvel at 6 am and drop points started. I reached Mira Road at 7:30am. Overall a good experience. But I would prefer to travel by train if given a chance.

Also like to add the bus made adequate halts for toilet breaks.

Paulo Travels have got good network and good buses. I definitely would recomend it.

Hope this review helps.
