Patna is capital of Bihar. I have gone to Patna many times, It is not a famous tourist place. But you can find many monuments of mauryan period in before that.
Patna is very well connected with different parts of India via rail route. Trains for different parts of India can be taken from here. Patna also has a domestic airport. Daily flights for different important cities are available from Patna Airport. Patna is also connected with Road routes.
Patna doesn't have many tourism spot. Only a few tourism spots are famous. Museum of Patna Golghar are famous spots in Patna. Archaeological sites of mauryan dynasty can be seen in Patliputra.
Patna has hotels ranging from very costly hotel to low budget hotel. 5 star hotels are also available here. A number of low budget hotels are also available in Patna. But you have to bargain to get it at suitable price.
Patna is not so good from security point of view. Rules and regulation of Patna is not very good. Kidnapping and thefts are common practice in Patna.
