I have been an avid follower of ayurveda, and whenever I see herbal products and such I never hesitate in getting them.
The actual bottle comes housed in a cardboard box. It has the name of the product written on it in hindi as well as english, which I found it very good. I like the shape of the bottle, and it comes with a convenient flip cap that clicks shut and is sturdy enough.
It has a soothing fragrance, which smells like camphor and amla. I find it relaxing. The aroma is very herbal-y and not at all overpowering that will bother the nose. The texture is like any other oil, slightly on the thicker side. I particularly avoid oils that are thin, maybe because I have a notion that it may contain mineral oil. Most hair oils from leading brands contain mineral oil, while some mention some dont. I have got used to that assumption . I dont mind the slightly thick texture.
I apply this oil before sleeping and sometimes 2 hours before hair wash. I noticed it gave better result when applied a night before. It control hair fall to an extent, though I dont have any major hair loss issues. I have extremely dry and frizzy hair, and this oil didn't not do much for it. It also controlled my dandruff to an extent, which was very beneficial indeed. My scalp felt nourished and moisturized after washing my hair. It gives hair a shiny look. Oil has such a beautiful array of herbal ingredients with the base as coconut oil and sesame oil. It gives emense pleasure while styling your hair. I had a good night's sleep without any stress and tension . i'm amazed that it worked that way too. I cannt ask anything more from such a wonderful hair oil at such a decent price.
