I HAVE PURCHASED HONDA ACTIVA AROUND 5 YEARS BACK ASSUMING FOR GOOD SERVICE. I HAVE SPENT MONEY FOR 5 YEARS EXTENDED WARRANTY ALSO. BY PROFESSION I AM A DOCTOR AND DAILY RUNNING IS HARDLY 3 KMS. I HAVE TAKEN ADEQUATE PRECAUTIONS LIKE SERVICING AND DAILY CLEANING. HARDLY THE CLINIC WAS AT 2 KMS DISTANCE.
2 WEEKS BEFORE BUTTON START BECAME SLOW AND NON FUNCTIONING AND REQUIRED KICK START. SO I HANDED OVER SCOOTER FOR SERVICING OF AUTHORIZED CENTER NEAR SNDT. KARVE RD. THEY TOOK 1300 RS AND CHANGED SOME PARTS. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT MACHINE REPAIR INCLUDING PRANK HAS TO BE REPLACED COSTING 12000 RS. I WAS SHOCKED AS EXTENDED WARRANTY WAS FINISHED. THE SCOOTER WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND HOW SUDDENLY MA SHIN BECAME NON FUNCTIONING.
THEY HAVE OPENED MACHINE WITH 7500 RS PARTS AND SERVICING AGAIN. AND ASKED ME TO SELL VEHICLE AT PASHANKAR AUTO AND BUY NEW ONE. WHEN SCOOTER IS PROPER EXCEPT BUTTON START. THE OFFICE IS NOW GIVING ONLY 6 MONTHS GUARANTEE.AT THE TIME OF SERVICING THEY ARE TAKING AWAY PARTS FROM MACHINE AND CHANGING THEM AND PUT ALL BURDEN OF MONEY ON THE CUSTOMER. I TRIED TO CONTACT MAIN OFFICE AND CUSTOMER CARE BUT OF NO USE. I HOPE AT LEAST NOW THEY WILL REFUND 1/2 MONEY AT LEAST. BE CAREFUL ABOUT ALL THESE SERVICE CENTERS.
