We went to Park Baluchi near( or rather inside) of Deer Park, Hauz Khas, New Delhi on 25th September 2009 for the first time by recommendation of my friend.
The restaurant is located, maybe, inside of the Deer Park and surrounded by trees, greens. You cannot beat such a nice location, but the food was.oh . so sad to say that it was tasteless and we'll never go there again. There were mainly foreign tourists there, as the restaurant is advertised in some Indian tourism sites and recommended. And some sarkari babus who were eating free meals there. The owner of the restaurant must be having a very good political connection, otherwise he could not have opened the restaurant in such a exclusive spot. So, there were babus eating free dinner.
Anyway, the food was cooked for foreigners who cannot eat hot indian food, i.e., almost no salt, no spice. The food was prepared for the foreigners who don't know indian food at all.
Reshmi kabab was not like resham, it was rather like linen kabab, the round ball like kabab( it was their signature item but I forgot the name)was just a ball of minced meat, the soup doesn't have salt in it, the fish tikka(a whole pomplet) was not marinated well, or rather no salt nor masala.
Sometimes I get kababs from Friends Colony Market, where you can get such succulent, delicious kababs with less than 1/3 of money, of course, the atmosphere is totally different.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anybody.
