Ask Any one in Hyderabad, where to get a nice Biriyani, the most common answer is Paradise! Paradise is a Restaurant Situated in Secunderbad which is Known for the Biriyani it serves. This place is 3 Kms from the Airport.
Padadise has many restarants, from the basic Take away to the Premium, Peris GOLD.
There is one basic restarant in the Ground Floor, Where Service is QUICK and the waiters themselves collect the bill. Tipping is included in the bill.(I mean the waiters will take Rs.5 - 10 while returning the change)
Then there is Paradise Garden, which is partially open Air. Same Biriyani but with better Service. I would Suggest this, as you get decent table service and nominal price.
Then comes Paradise GOLD and MINI GOLD. Premium restaurants, Air conditioned and Well served. The price is Premium for the same Biriyani U get in Ground Floor. But the Ambiance is good, and suggested for a long, calm dinner.
The Speciality is Biriyani in Paradise. They also serve kababs, Rottis and other veg / non veg items mainly of Mugal Cusine.
Some time I feel they mass produce the Biriyani as the total no of chicken biriyani they sell for a day in all the restarunts will be around 5000 Plates.
Had some bad experiance also. Some time the chicken is not cooked properly and offerd apple milkshake to go with biriyani when I ordered apple juice( Gold coin). I felt really embrassed to have chicken biriyani and apple milk shake. :D
Another problem is waiting for a table. In all the restaurants, you may have to wait for 10-20 mins to get a seat. Reservations are allowed in Peris GOLD. As hyderabadis love to eat out, better be prepared for this
