Paradise is one of the oldest theatres located near Sheetladevi Mandir in Mahim, Mumbai. It still looks the very same like it did decades ago. While there have been a number of multiplxes inaugurated and running over the fedw years, this cinema hasn't really lost its charm or popularity. This theatre is simple - the shortest description that I could think of. Like most old-school theatres, there are movies of different languages that are broadcasted here, the major ones being Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil.
The theatre is open on all days of the week and tickets can be booked only in cash at their counters. You will also find blockbuster movies sold in black by the agents/brokers. The theatre seating arrangement can be defined into three major categories, the cheapest being Stall and the other two being levels of Balcony. The prices of the tickets range according to which section you opt for. The prices of the tickets are the same on weekdays as well as weekends, and only differ from one show timing to another plus the sections of theatre.
The seating is decent and not quite spacious. The sound and picture quality is average. Their staff is humble althought not hep. I don't like the washrooms here, they are not hygeinic or clean. The canteen food doesn't have a lot of options. So, you can select from samosa, sandwiches, ice-creams, cold drinks and packet popcorn. These are cheap as well. Overall, Paradise is a decent cinema and low-budget solution.
