Oil. Review on Parachute Coconut Hair Oil

It comes in containers of various sizes so you only need to buy as much as you need. You can therefore buy very small bottle which is useful if you need to travel with it. The majority of the containers are all plastic with no glass parts.

This means that they cannot be broken. They also have a plastic cover over the lid that you have to pierce before you can get any oil out. This allows you to control the amount of flow and if you do tip the bottle over there is very little spillage. Combined with the plastic bottle this means that there are likely to be no leaks. A lot of other commercial hair oils have this problem.The oil itself has a nice consistency. It flows well out of the bottle. It smells like coconut oil although the smell is not too strong. It is quite heavy and a little amount does really oil the hair. Personally I only use it at night and so going out with it on isn’t an issue for me.

I need to shampoo my hair atleast twice to get rid of the oil. I don’t know if this is more or less than other hair oils. The one benefit that parachute has over others is because the bottle has no metal parts you can heat it in the microwave. This means that if you live in a cold climate where the oil solidifies (as coconut oil does) you can liquify it again. You can also give yourself a simple warm oil treatment which makes oiling your hair a little more special.
