Reproducing my letter to Papa Johns after a miserable dining experience over the weekend:
:I would like to tell you about my first(and last) experience at your outlet in HSR Layout, Bangalore. I went there with my family including 2 children this evening at 7pm. We ordered 2 simple Regular pizzas immediately. By around 7:45 we still had not received our order.
Your competitor(Pizza Hut) DELIVERS a piping hot pizza in under 30 minutes. I was patient till around 7:30-7:40 asking the waiter for status on the yet undelivered Pizza.
By then with the kids driving me nuts, I was ready to leave but the waiter finally brought us one pizza by 7:45 pm. It was barely warm. And frankly for the price you charge, dinner at the Taj or Leela seems more value for money. The pizza was over within a coup, e of bites and we hungrily waited for the next. Meanwhile, we had to change a couple of plates because the ones we got were dirty. Plus we got our requested water after a wait of over 15 min. Finally with the 2nd Pizza nowhere to be seen I paid for the one I ate and left. I was charged an inflated, atrocious and highly bloated price of Rs. 400 for what was nothing more than a small piece of bread with some cheese and cut chillies.
Never going back. Never recommending your Pizza.
A complete waste of my time and money, with an added bonus of spoiling my mood in the weekend. And having to pay Rs. 400 for it.
PS: We went home, ordered a medium pizza from Pizza Hut, got it under 30 minutes - HOT - and paid the same amount for it.
