Panchchatantra is the very oldest and intresting story book. The meaning of panch means 'five' and Tantra means 'a way of doing something or how to behave in a situation. Pandit Vishnu Sharma was the author of this book. This book first comes in sanskrit language and was divided in five volums: 1) Loss of friends 2) Winning of friends 3) Of crows and owls 4) Loss of Gains 5) Rash Actions .The story of Panchatantra are based on friendship, knowledge, wealth, honest efforts, careful thought, and so on. The stories are all mostly of animals. Each story has some practical wisdom for us .When I read this story biok I learnt many lessons in our life . Panchatantra book was completed in 3rd century Bc( between 1200 and 300BC) . since there is little independent evidence about him.
