This Mumbai city holds a lot of things in its chaste. Suddenly I discovered this not so presentable restaurant at Fort searching for a reasonable place for eat out. Let me share my experience, opinion about that place
The food - Honestly speaking a really nice place to enjoy good and tasty food. There are various items as the name depicts'Puriwala' - they are specialist of puris. However, other items are also available. But Puris are must try at this place. Specially their various Puri thalis are great and cheaper option as a complete meal.
What I like is the Pancham Special Thali which comes with green puris and various sabji items, mmmm yammy. At only 130/- per meal its a delight.
The place - The most advantageous for Pancham puriwala is the place, fort is a great place for business and they have grabbed a good place near fort/CST.
Main problem is that space constraint. This is not a spacious restaurant. Most of the time it is crowded and people are lined up. Even if you get to seat on their very tiny small chairs, you will think that you should have lost some weight before coming here.
Most dangerous thing is that they have managed to put a narrow stair and few more chair on their upper floor. Its so short heighted and narrow with fans almost falling on you. This make your eat out an uncomfortable ride. So try not to go upstairs and wait a bit to adjust yourself at ground floor only.
Hygiene - It is questionable, as the people serving the food and water they were seen to use dirty cloths to clean table. So be careful.
Finally - Good location, very good and tasty food with very reasonable price. If you find the place not good enough to house your group take away the parcel. Still a must try.
