Panasonic is a well known brand and have seen it having wide range of electronics including large appliances like TV, AC, etc.
When I needed an AC for our office. I got a very deal in Panasonic 2 ton AC and being conversant with its history and product availability I chose to buy the AC.
The experience was not that good. the deal was given with terms to suffering.
Service and support: The support and installation staff took more than 2-3 days to come and install the AC. and charged some extra bucks for the installation which was not included in the original product pricind. Also the installation was rash and the handling of the product was rough and I had to literally fight with the person to handle with care.
Cooling and sound: the cooling effect is quite good and as expected and but there is a little more sound of the AC. you cannot feel silence in the room with it on.
Reliability and satisfaction: The product looks quite good but still reliability cannot be assured. as after the purchase I have heard many rumors about their worst customer services. and frequent product faults. I am for now satisfied with the effect but once I tried to connect to the customer support and it was not going through. so I can imagine if I ever needed their service what would be my situation.
Value for money: In terms of money I got a good deal but other than that there is no special features, not good promise of after sales service, the parts are far too expensive if you have to change any of them.
The installastion was not upto the mark. so there are many negative points which keeps one from buying panasonic product and choosing other options next time.
