First and also most important for people who are cribbers. There is no great resort or restaurant or place to stay in Palolem if you are ok with that then this is the most wonderful beach you will find in Goa, Palolem beach is about 2 kms long, Its not very private. Most of the crowd you will see there are Foreigners... but even the local crowd is pretty decent (if you discount the 40 something despo guys who keep staring at all the ladies), the beach is quite safe. The beach is lined with shacks or bamboo/coco huts, which are very affordable.. they are around 100 per day during off season and 200 to 300 during peak season. 2 people can stay in it.
take a morning walk on the beach. Have a nice breakfast go swimming, drink to your hearts content, repeat the same the next day and the next till you get bored (which will probably never happen).
Its best if you are going in groups, especially for guys on their first tour of Goa.
