I just brought my Palm xe. To be frank my whole comment here is based on my two week exp with this magnificent instrument. The whole world might be thinking why on the earth when there are other cool gismo available do one require and older version of Palmtop. This palm would be a real compititor for the latest gismos which include mp2 player (still no clue why do you require to hear songs from a tiny device when you computer is just next to you and with the money you spend on a palmtop like that you can easily buy a decent laptop)
Well coming back to the palm xe the advantage is that now my contact list in the office and my contact at my home are there at one palce. Whenever I need then I just need to check my palm. Havent used mail option yet but think I should be doing that real soon. The good thing that happened is the my life all more organised and I dont forget the things that I need to do.
To do software is good really track the work that you need to complete and the Memo feature helps you to store those tiny bit of details which you dont know when you will require.
The bad part of the palm is that there is no back light and no charged need to send 65 bucks every time I change my battery.
All in all I can say its a must buy!
