Best Small Car in India. Review on Palio - Petrol

Hey Folks, ............. I think anybody coming to this site and looking for review on palio sure shot will be a FIAT fan as I am. I still remember when FIAT launched this car in India and it was awarded as the Car of the year award. From the day of lauch I felt in love with this car and decided that my first car would be Fiat Palio.

So the day has come and I bought my Palio on 25th of September, 2006.

We already had a zen in our family but the we bought Palio nobody is interested in driving zen.

Now as I used the car for 1000 Kms on both highways and city I can give my own review of the FIAT.

In the city like Delhi where AC is a must Palio AC is superb and can easily chill the interiors in minutes, but I think the car is not very quick with AC on but it not that bad either. As fas as fuel efficiency in Delhi with 100% AC I am getting 11 Kmpl which I think is good for a heavy car like Palio.

I had also travelled on hifhway from Delhi to Vrindavan in this car and the true character of Palio comes out on the highway, with full 5 adults inside the car and with AC on I was cruising comfortably at 120 Km/hr that too with 15 Kmpl average. You can't do that in Zen. :)).

I think this is the car for those who cares more about there family safety on the Indian roads rather then pity things like fuel efficiency. This is car not in the league of marutis and santros but it is notch above them all, if you don't believe try to open the bonnet and hold it for 1 min or try shutting doors of palio and then of any maruti or santro.
