Recently I purchased this Palio 1.2 NV ELX. The following is my experience:
I read many negative reviews about Fiat. But due to liking of Palio I purchased. Max. reviews were actually against Fiat dealers and service. Everyone says car is very good. My experience with the dealer is also not good. It is surprising why company is not taking any step to solve this Dealers problem.
Palio NV sluggish in initial gears. Engine is smaller compare to car weight (1015 KG). It takes more time in pick if A/C is on.
On road car is very good compare to many cars. Very smooth ride. It is like any other mid size sedan.
Safety features are high.
When back wheel of car is opened, I found two studs where damaged.
When cabin light is open for fitting Aetna. Back plate of light was rusted.
But at the same time fuel consumption is higher compare to small car.
Interior quality is ok. Not very good but better then Indica. It should be better then current. Specially inner handles too ordinary.

My experience with Palio NV ELX -2
I am happy to share my further experience with the car.
Recently I filled car tank with (Power/Speed) high octane petrol. The performance of car was improved. Difference in performance of car with normal petrol and high-octane petrol is noticeable.
My car is giving me average between 9-10 KM per liter in Delhi city condition with A/c on. I am expecting average should be better after 1st service. This average I am getting with normal petrol. I think, I will get better average with Power petrol.
A/c cooling is good, but back seat needs extra cool air provision. People feel little uncomfortable at back sheet when temperature in Delhi at 40 degree.
We are going to buy one Maruti in our family. A had a chance to look at Alto Vxi and Zen Vxi. I found Fiat is giving more stuff at the same price. Car (Palio) is bulky (more iron at the same cost) and having better quality material then I have seen in Zen and Alto.
Alto & Zen cars are also very good if you need lightweight car and quick jump on red light. Less space is required to turn and park. Easy and low cost maintenance. Save on petrol but do not save on path-holes.
