I visited Delhi with few of my friends for a tech fest in IIT-Delhi, we stayed in Delhi for 7 days and visited all the popular part of the city. Somehow we reached to Palika Bazaar that is near to Connaught Place.
This place is underground and it feels like you are in a Chor-Bazaar as soon as you enter there. The shopkeepers keeps shouting making noice everywhere and calling customer.
We went to some shops and I bought a T-Shirt Levi's they asked 1500 and they came down to 200. It was shocking and that time only we got to know that nothing is original there. Then we moved to an electronic shop and one of my friend asked price of a 64GB HP pendrive. They asked 1200 rs and again same thing happend and after little barganning they came to 300 rs.PD was working fine they showed in their Computer. What can be better than a 64 GB HP pendrive in 300 rs.
As soon as we reached to our hotel in the evening my friend tried the PD in his laptop but it was not working. My other friend also tried the pd in his laptop too but it was not even detected. So again next day we went to the same shop with PD and his laptop and told them that the PD is not working but unexpectdly they started shouting on us that it is not purchased from our shop and were like very ferocious. We came back because we were helpless.
After some days my TShirts became like hell it was shrinking and I could not even wear the tshirt for more than 10 days.
Its all about Palika Bazar. I would never suggest anybody to buy a single piece from this market.
