Some thoughts that keep coming ?. Review on Pakistan, General

Pakistan with its culture, tradition, virgin landscapes is a beautiful country which shares the Himalayas and has the Hindu- Kush mountains can be an ideal destination for promotion of tourism – but sad it is not coming out of the K syndrome. Economic prosperity is the only prosperity that will be recognized in the coming years and not how much territory of land the country owns.

With the kind of excellent craftsmanship people of Pakistan have it can earn a name for itself in the world market but alas this is getting killed under some petty issues that are kept alive by politicians of both sides.

Frankly I have not visited Pakistan but would like visit it but only when governments of both the countries treat humans as humans.

Ideally advancement in the lifestyle of individuals will result in the hatred vanishing but will the politicians allow such advancement to happen?

The people on this side of the man made border have customs and traditions that are common to the people staying on the other side of the border. People who want to visit the other side have to visit by going through a third country. A sense of hatred has been inculcated in the minds of normal people living and earning their day to day livelihood.

The distance between Amritsar and Lahore is just a few hours but the bus and formalities take double the time the train when it used to run also suffered from the same problems.

Why is there such hatred ?

For a small piece of land – hatred caused more by politicians than by normal individual who want to live a peaceful life.

A look at the history ………

Why was the country divided ? why did we fall prey to the divide and rule policies of the colonial rulers? Why did they not have political consensus ?

Are we falling prey to the arms and ammunition factories of the western power? Who want to keep the pot boiling for their economy to survive.

If the estranged brothers keep fighting it is for the benefit of the greater super powers/ economies to fish in troubled waters and not allow any compromise/ unity in the region.

The war between the two countries has killed so many lives? Drained the coffers and has helped the arms and ammunition factories of the western powers to flourish.

When the world is moving towards economic prosperity, trivial issues like territory etc. still are bogging us down, which is again for an advantage of the western world.

A unified sub continent, which was prosperous, had the French, Dutch, Portuguese, British coming for trade. Will the golden moment come back?

When East and West Germany can unite can we not remove the man made boundaries, man made flags, man made countries, man made restrictions etc., why was a country formed because each individual thought of becoming a leader and wanted his share of land to govern.

What I like about the Internet is it helps me fly like a bird without any restriction reach any part of the world without restriction.
