What is the Paheli? Gee, let's see... Oh yea?! Why hasn't Hollywood picked up SRK yet? Not only was this film fantastic with such great acting, but it was one of the most touching films I have seen yet. Hollywood could stand to produce such great family entertainment. I hope that people can see through the so-called shortcomings of Paheli (I myself can't think of any) and let themselves enjoy the wonderful folk-tale and not be so analytical. Rani is wonderful as the young bride and SRK... what can I say, only that I have said it before; he is a great actor and is blazing new trails for himself. If this is what we are to expect of his Red Chilis production company, I can hardly wait for his next film. My children enjoy watching his movies and always leave the theater happy, emotional, with a far away look in their eyes and so many good times. After all isn't that what movies are? A chance to escape your own reality and enjoy the impossible, the hopeful, the probable and giving all in the audience a chance to live out a little dream in a sometimes disturbing world.
Memorable moments:
The Ghost: Special effects of The Ghost changing into different things... spectacular!
The camel race: SRK did a great job and the special effects were awesome!
