Just 2 words to sum up the life of celebrities... HYPE & HYPOCRISY and this film has done full justice in covering up the presentable facets of their lives. Yeah! I stress on the word presentable here because it's yet another fact that there's more to this story than what we see on the screen.

Anyways, I won't play a journalist on Crime Beat and go on to dig up graves of celebrity smelly skeletons. I?d rather?well?umm? Just Review this film!! : ) and that too, with pleasure!

The film starts with a Party scene and you know what? I could identify most of the faces on the screen for their real name & job profile. See, I?m one of those starry-eyed simple citizen of the metropolitan Mumbai who?s all in awe of the celebrities & their lifestyles on Page 3 of the Bombay Times newspaper. I admit to the fact that every morning I had been more than curious to get to PAGE 3 just to read up & watch on WHAT?S HOT n HAPPENING on the Party Circuit. I can safely bet that I?m not the only one who has been mesmerized by the colorful celebrity life that we see on those Page 3 columns.

This film is what I call ?A voice to Reality!? C?mon!! What is shown in the film is what U & I are aware of already. But, it took a film to slap it into our face that we?re aware of the right reality!

The movie revolves around lives & wives?Lives of celebrities and of journalists & wives of the multimillionaire barons.

Well, here?s a piece of advice to you if you?re going watch this film. Please be in the right frame of mind. That is, Please leave your moral trafficking, cultural & traditional assessments chart and your beliefs of ?partner-loyalty? safely at home. If you don?t heed to this warning then I?m sorry to say that truth will sink in hard & bad for you. Celebrity lives are not to be judged by the same standards as that of a simple normal individual. The best suited lines to explain what I?m trying to say here is within the film?s song itself:

Thokar bhi khaana hai, Chalte bhi jaana hai

Vaada kiya toh woh kisko nibhaana hai

Yahaan sabko saare dao aazmane hain

Sabhi ek dooje se zyaada sayane hain!

TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH: Well, it simply means that you may fall but, you got to still keep walking. Promises are made but, of course to be broken. Everyone indulges in games here and u bet, one is smarter than the other.? That?s PAGE 3 For You!!

?We have to be in the system to change the system.? A hard-hitting fact from the film that every journalist must know like their DOB. It?s like this:

The truth needs to be told but, Along with Honesty there must be wisdom to serve it at the right place, time & style!

The film revolves around the life of this protagonist, Madhavi Sharma played classically by Konkona Sensharma who is a Page 3 reporter initially. She?s an entertainer more than a journalist. However, she differs from the rest? differs coz she has a heart and a conscience that?s still working! The film shows her study the lives & life?s little or BIG surprises in her job and in her personal life as well. One stubborn woman learns to play by the rules of the industry coz all everyone needs to do at the end of the day is Survive!

It?ll be a shame to reveal anything more about the film because I really want each one of you to watch it. It?s nothing new since we?ve been fed on such stories, thanks to all the gossip magazines & also some real journalists. However, it?s worth watching, trust me! So, don?t miss this.

I don?t know who takes more credit? Everyone associated with the film ha done a wonderful & commendable job?both On & OFF Screen! So, I leave it to you to see it for yourself. No, this is no romantic make-believe classic, It?s Reality & It?s handled beautifully!
