The movie comes after a lot of opposition and rage. Especially not released in bigger states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa. The movie is amidst very controversial in the name of the Rajputs and the opulence is against them. But even after the release of the movie, the movie has turned out to be highly extravagant. The gallantry in the performance is highly praised, but the story is not so wholly superfluous.
the story is about the Rani Padmavati and the loved Maharwal Ratan Singh of Mewar, and they were loved a lot as King by the people of the Mewar. All is sweeping along and then then the Sultan Allaudin Khilji wants that he rules the Hindustan, and needs a wife like Padmavati. He gets self obsessed with her beauty, and in order to satisfy his greed, he sets free the animal inside him and tries to grab the Lady Padmavati. And the story completes by how the ladies put themselves forward in the war and how hey won over the Sultan.
The story has been praised but thought the'Kohl lined eyed' Ranveer Singh has done his job in a perfect manner, though extraordinary effort has been put forward by him. The story has no base of the storyline. There is more that exists in the movie which just sways in order to grab the best moments of love, this made me confuse many times with the acts. The performance by Deepika is as usual, there is nothing new in her performance, she is just the same in Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani. So this was hard and disappointing. The performance byShahid Kapoor is also not of the types of a Ruler, his expressions are very mildly visible.
The song Binte Dil by Arijit Singh is not liked by the people, All other songs are also not remarkable
So if one is a die hard fan of the couple Ranveer and Deepika, then it is for them. Else if one wants to see the exact story in a better version, we must read History books, no better and exacting theories would be found in the movie.
