The scamsters at Travelkhana thinks that they can take any of their customers for granted or at least that’s what I think they do from my own experience.
Given the beauty of the concept of providing food in train, I decided to give https://travelkhana.com a try and made an order(Order ID: 37302). They promptly called and confirmed the order. Up till this point everything was perfect but then before approx. 30 mins of the train reaching the station, someone called from Travelkhana to inform me that the food I ordered was unavailable! Why the hell did they accept the order in the first place!
They told that I could get veg biryani if I wanted as that was their only option and out of desperation to have something good to eat, I opted for that. Then came the second shock. The train reached the station and I promptly got the Biriyani at the seat and I paid for it. I started eating and the food was terrible to say the least! That’s when I realized that the veg biryani which I paid 55 for was actually the same veg biryani that was available from the platform and which my co-passengers paid just Rs.50 for!
Travelkhana basically got me food from platform and charged a premium for that! I have taken the pictures of both the biryani packing’s having the same seal of the provider on it(Photos Attached). If I had to get the food from a platform vendor I don't need TravelKhana. I can just buy it directly from them. I didn't get any call from them after that so that I could complain but then what use complaining to them about something that had already happened and done the damage.
This is by far the most shameless rip-off I have ever seen and experienced. I am so damn pissed off about this that I am seriously thinking of suing TravelKhana not for the 5 Rs but for breaching the trust I put on that company. Never ever am I going to trust Travelkhana again!
P.S TravelKhana if you are reading this please please improve your service. You are serving hungry people here and the tolerance level for that is miniscule. I personally feel that if you guys can serve good food, this might turn up to be a good service but as of now and from my experience, its pathetic.
