Watching movie at pvr central really tests your patience. I don't mind booking tickets online but why to waste money when tickets are available at box office. am writing my experience step by step
1.staff at box office are made to work over time, so they look frustrated and impatient.you can't book seat no or row of your choice cuz ticket issuing staff won't cooperate with you, they keep irritating face.staff at pvr are overworked, so they don't respect their patrons.and you have either one or two counters at box office cuz they want to save money with less staff.you have to wait in queue dehydrating for a long time in summer cuz only one counter is open.
2.after entering multiplex, you don't find ac in waiting lounge, since they don't start show on time, you have to stand for long time suffocating and dehydrating.when you want to buy water, they sell unrefrigerated 500ml water bottles for 40 rupees . you have to ask them to give chilled water bottle, don't they have brain to sell chilled water in hot summer while charging 40 inr for 500ml.you will get answer from staff that there is no power.
3.after all the wait and frustration, when you enter auditorium, you will find sales guys shouting'BIRYANI SIR'BIRYANI SIR'.i have seen lot of multiplexes in different cities, I never came across people selling biryani inside an auditorium. its more like a railway platform culture. after this, you will come across delivery guys moving around your seats to disturb when the movie is on.you will go through STEP3 experience again during intermission.these auditoriums don't have proper ac.
4.watching 3d movie at pvr central is nightmare.they charge 25 rupees extra and will provide crappy 3d glasses full of scratches.i have to exchange glasses 3 to 4 times.staff dunno how to handle 3d glasses.
5.you will get rogue patrons who keep legs on front seats or chit chat all through the movie to disturb others movie experience.you will find literate hooligans at pvr central to spoil your movie experience.
6.watching movie at pvr central is like surviving ship wreck. I never came across such an unorganized multiplex and such mindless people.its all about money making, not about providing better movie experience.
7.PVR IS SAME AS SINGLE SCREEN THEATRE AND LACKS CHARACTER OF MULTIPLEX. at least single screen theatres don't have nuisance of pvr.
