PVR EDM... is one of the latest multiplex from the PVR Chain. Its situated in Ghaziabad.. dont worry.. u dont need to struggle to reach there... its on the main road.. opposite to Anand Vihar Interstate Bus Terminal.. If you can access Delhi metro.. you would pay 30 bucks in an auto from Shadra Metro Station (ofcourse u need to bargain.. Delhi autowallas charge u as if everone taking an auto is related to bill gates and they are doing u a favour by making u spend..) PVR EDM.. is on the 3rd floor.. inside East Delhi Mall... The hall outside has great ambience.. neon coloured lights give you a pub feeling.. (but thats the case with most of the PVR movie halls) the hall inside has good seating ... comfortable.. They have good Surveillance systems, meaning security is good (they dont allow any sort of bags inside.. except small ladies handbags..that too thoroughly screened).. they dont allow tobacco inside the halls.. so you could find the toilet basins in the original white colour and not red...
I must say the management has taken good steps to maintain their toilet clean..hygenic.. extremely commendable job.. The snack bar is good.. it provides a good variety of snacks.. Would definetely recommend their Chicken hot dogs.. the best part is pricing.. I dont think you could watch a movie for Rs. 70/- to 80/- in any other multiplex in Delhi.. Sadly they charge you more (80/- to 90/-) on Fri, Sat & Sun.. (The shows before 12 are cheaper than the rest) You could book the tickets on their website ( http://www.pvrcinemas.com).. paying 10 bucks more as convinience charge on each ticket...
They reserve the best seats for tickets booked on the net!!! Still, if thats expensive.. you could do telebooking.. they would charge you 40 bucks on each call.. ( a good option if you are going with your .. chacha..chachi..mama.. mami.. chunnu..munnu.. and more...) Although I do have a regret that they dont play english movies much.. Dont know the reason... (Their proximity to posh areas like preet vihar and IP Extn gives them much more reason to screen more english movies..) Overall a very good option if you want to spend a day with family and friends (and dont want to realise how the day got over!!!! )
