A tradition of charity and a vision of upliftment of the downtrodden had its result in the institution of PSG & Sons Charities.
In Coimbatore, the word Tech and CAS, meaning PSG College of Technology and PSG College of Arts and Science respectively are so generic that they are instantly recognised as PSG Institutions.

Being an alumni, it is with pride that I have come to experience the most satisfied and most admiring college days we have ever had. The college is a fountain of rich experience which cascades down with all humility and reaches every one of the wards and makes him/her the most important one.
Academically one of the most advanced curriculum with life-skills and job skills being an integral part of the curriculum, it is easy for students to be more employable the day they came out of college. Probably, one of the pioneer institutions to have a placement cell in an Arts and Science college, this writer has more than three offers on hand as early as 1998.
The ambience of the institution, the college fests apart from the faculty who are rich in experience and reasearch are really a great college experience.
The college has succeeded in inculcating the sense of responsibility in its wards to the betterment of the fellow citizens and the nation as a whole.
This institution which has already celebrated its Golden Jubilee is set on path of revolutionising Collegiate Education with new courses and job oriented education.
The College, one of the first to be an Autonomous institution in this part of the country enjoys distinction with the best of the cream joining here.
At present there are over 19 Undergraduate courses and 22 Post graduate courses and Research Programmes in diverse disciplines.
Infrastructure wise, has the best of the infrastructure and boasts of a mammoth Multimedia studio, a large one in this part of Asia.
It is a great place of learning, you would agree with me as soon as you enter, you will be greeted with the Goddess of Learning - Saraswathi, bestowing the choicest blessing on you.
