PNB Mobile Banking Application is surely a useful feature from Punjab National Bank. This application allow users to check their account balance, summery, stop cheques and even you can pay bills and transfer money to others. It’s somewhat simple to use and its whole system is very user friendly that means anyone can operate it easily.
The feature of Payment and Recharge is there but its little odd to use but it’s quite useful in some cases. The best and most useful feature in this app is Online Cheques inquiry, stop cheque and cheque book request. By the help of this app you can do certain thing that can save your time and you don’t need to go to bank such as request a new cheque book and stop cheques.
Now the UPI Payments option is also added in it that’s a good thing for UPI users and others too. The option to check your last 10 SMS is there so you can check the SMS anytime and also in case you have missed them or they were deleted.
It’s simple to check details of your operative account as well as Loan account and deposit account by this app.
But this is not a perfect application, in comparison to other banks mobile banking apps this one seems not as that much good. The whole appearance, design and theme is very old and definitely PNB should update it.
Many times it fails to login and even after login during any activity it stop working. There are many issues with its programing for sure. Even it’s user-friendly but in some cases its performance is below the average.
In this application Passbook feature is missing although there is passbook option but it doesn’t work properly and you cannot check your whole statement when needed, there is one completely different application to access your PNB passbook called mPassbook. PNB should provide an option to access your Passbook in this mobile banking app so user will be able check his/her statement directly here.
In my opinion it’s an average mobile banking application and some of its features are below average but on the other hand few of its features are good to use and its ecosystem is user friendly. I would also like to add again which I have mentioned above that this application needs an update and that update should include updated passbook feature, solutions to log in issues and also its theme, design needs a complete new look.
