Story:

P.S. I Love You is an amazing love story. It best describes each of our emotion and the problems and confusion we go through after losing someone we love very much. The social awkwardness, the feeling of not wanting to do anything, even get of the bed, the way we feel when everyone around is moving on and you just feel stuck, not able to move no matter how much you try. Cecilia Ahern puts all these emotions in a very delicate and relatable manner. The book deals with the loss of a loved one and how one can get lost after such a tragedy. The book went on to be adapted into a movie.

Story:

Holly and Jerry are a happily married and very much in love people, until Jerry gets diagnosed with cancer and losses the battle with it. After Jerry's death Holly locks herself in their apartment and does not respond to anyone's calls. On her birthday, she gets an unexpected gift. A message from Jerry telling her that he has written her a series of letter which will be arriving "from all kinds of sources and not to try to find out about them". These series of letters and surprises helps Holly move on a little at a time. The book is around these letters and surprises Jerry has planned and how it helps Holly. The book focuses on the hard parts of moving on and grieving.

The book is brilliantly written and doesn't lose its focus anywhere. You can relate to Holly and that's what makes you like this book even more. Its more than just romance. Its about friendship and finding yourself again after you think you are lost.

It is a very good read through out.
