As everyone does, I bought a suit for my engagement and the mistake I did was buying it from P.N. Rao. After taking a look at their wide range of suits I finally zeroed-in on one. Unlike a ready made suit, this one needed alteration. I explained to the tailor as to how I wanted my suite to fit me and it was an obvious "definitely" from him. I knew that he did not pay attention to me as he kept answering calls in between as if he was the CEO of an MNC. Finally, after realizing that nothing went into his head, I said that I will give him a suit which I owned and he has to just do a photocopy job on the new one. Tailor said he needed 7days to alter, I was OK with it.
I go on the 10th day to collect my suit(3days before my engagement), one of their staff collected the receipt and the slip and brings my "so-called" altered suit. I tried it on and to my shock NOTHING WAS DONE. There was no sign of alteration, the trouser length was short, coat was as it was and I looked like a clown in it. When I started bringing the roof down for doing such a poor quality job even after giving my own suit as a sample they said that the tailor who worked on my suit was on leave. I left the shop angry and frustrated saying that I will snatch my money back if it was not ready in 24hrs.
Next day, my suit was ready, It was alright but not satisfying. I was really DISAPPOINTED by the tailors P.N. Rao had. One simple advise - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT P.N. RAO. There are many places from where you can get your suit and trust me, P.N. Rao has nothing in special.
