The Blizzard rules.....

Whatever one thinks of Jhon ''Ozzy'' Osbourne's headline hogging outrageous antics and alleged affronts to common decency, there is no denying his dedication to the heavy metal craft.

Not being enslaved by the new trends and rules, Ozzy wrote the rules from his own creative heart and remains the ultimate master of heavy metal.

Both as frontman for goth metal rocker Black Sabbath and as a squealing solo artist he amassed a recorded output of nearly 20 albums, each of which attained a platinum-plus status.

The 'OZZman Cometh'is a double CD package of his greatest-hits. The perilous balck magic funeral 'Black Sabbath' and the devastating ,anthemic 'war Pigs'kick off the album.

Ozzy trots of his sonically impressive tracks ,including the catchy 'Crazy Train' and'Mr Crowley',which both lean on the dazzling solos of the late, lamented Randy Rhodes.Randy Rhodes (formerly of Quite Riot)was a young guitar virtuso who re-wrote the rules of guitar playing with his extordinary innovation and talent.

The smashing hit 'Paranoid' the 7th track is a live taken from Ozzy's 1987 tribute, featuring again Rhodes sensational guitar playing .

'Bark at the moon'the next track is a pivotal riff of which was concieved by guitarist Jake.E.Lee.

The following tracks'shot in the Dark',Crazy Babies 'and 'no more tears' are songs with screeching guitar and a lush keyboard sheen.

'No more tears' is my personal favorite and I am completely hooked on to this song

The next track 'Mama I am coming home' my other favorite, is a song rife with fine rythums ,Ozzy's trademark crisp powerful vocals ,wildly infectious grooves and heavy guitar riffs.Plain and simple ,this track is a example of astounding musicianship.

Disc two contains ''Fairies wear boots' and 'Behind the wall of sleep',both from the Basement tracks of vintage Sabbath.Ozz's 18 minute interview ,pictures of matchstick men and some video games are also included in this CD.

This album captures the power and glory that was Ozzy.

The Blizzard walks ...,without warning

Long live Ozzy!!
