I took my wife for TIOS.
First impression is classic, state of art hi-fi place. You would feel as if you are in 3-Start hotel and not a hospital. You see 32' Bravia LCD TV hanging by the wall and nice furnished room. You would feel nice and thank saying wwow no smells and clean and nice. However, this is first impression. Rs.3000 a day for private room. Other extravagant charges. Nightmare during discharge process. Hype about Internet and you see only 1 table PC with internet wired connection and that to available only during day time. In this world at such so called hi-fi place you feel frustrated about lack of Wifi. You are tied up with your patient and can not go out and can not connect to your office, banks etc.
Later on you would find you are not even watching at that TV for 5 mins. How would you have mindset to watch TV when your dear ones are in pain.. However its matter of individual taste.Medical services are OK. Arrogant medical store and that to not open 24 X 7. Support nursing staff is great. You would surely start thinking its ok. Thanks for all these not required exotic services. But what we really need is excellent medical services. Discharge process , billing, mediclaim formalities are nightmare. You would end up spending 2-3 hours in all these.
These guys need to improve in basic things and costing. By presenting all unnecessary plush surroundings, you can not make patients feel happy. Where is that perspective of being a mankind serving entity. Professionals greedy for money.
"I would say if you very thirsty what you need is water and not exotic wine or coke."
