I had very bitter experience with OYO. I booked room at Collection O Adithya Central, Eluru, AP from 21-Apr-2024 to 22-Apr-2024. OYO contacted me and said if 100 percent payment is made , they can assure room booking. Accordingly, I paid full amount. OYO had sent email stating that Hotel had accepted my booking and even had welcomed me in the email. Based on the their room confirmation, I reserved onward and return journey tickets. To my surprise, when I contacted Hotel management, they informed that all online bookings were cancelled because Hotel has its own bookings. This matter was referred to OYO customer care. There was no proper answer from OYO customer care and issue could not be resolved by OYO. While taking money they give rosy picture and take within few seconds, but while resolving issue they say they need 24 to 48 hours. Everytime when I contacted OYO Customer Care one new person will lift the phone. I have to repeat entire story to him/her. After listening to the entire story they ask me to hold for 3 to 4 minutes and the standard answer is issue will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours.
