~~Oye Farhan..Farhan Oye~~. Review on Oye It's Friday

In my childhood, Television used to be my workplace(so to say), because I used to have all the fun, enjoyment, and learning sessions over it, mostly sipping my bournvita, with a fancy straw I got with an Offer pack! Even without the History channels and the Discovery channels, there were a lot of educational shows, even without the Zoom tvs, we were able to get some bollywood masala news, even without the Aaj Tak's, we were getting all the news we wish to know! But, I somehow refrain from watching TV these days, partly because of the deteriorating quality, the increasing number of those teary-sad soaps, and partly because of the number of useless shows being aired on TV, half of which I think are totally annoying and obnoxious!

And a lot of worthless programmes and a lot of those weird channels, make sure I keep ignoring them!

However, there are still probably a few TV programmes that I watch or make time for these days!

One of the few I watch almost everytime, happens to be "Oye, It's Friday"!

The comic avatar of Farhan Akhtar is really impressive and funny as hell! As a host, his comic abilities, funny one liners, superb gags and performances, make him a terrific host and a potential TV phenomenon! I think, most of us have already started adoring this show!

Now lets have a look at the show :

I like the show probably because we could see the funny side of the actors and celebrities, I dint know Shankar,ehsaan, loy could churn up comic lines too! :)

The show with shahrukh, spared us a glimpse of why SRK is King Khan, the way he can light up any stage, with his charisma and style is just commendable!

The Aamir khan episode, illustated the humourous side of Aamir, Aamir with a difference! :)

I have watched, 3 of the seven episodes that were aired, and I felt the difference and the entertainment was good, not too ridiculous like those new laughter shows, which somehow end up with one of those double meaning jokes!

The gags segment is really funny, and the jokes were hilarious yet sensible!

Dislikes -

I did not understand why were the cheerleaders required for this show, dunt make any sense for me, anyways probably the producers wanted a little more glamour for the mens audience, which I am guessing was because the host of the show is FA! :)

Other than that, I think the show is a real family entertainer, a wholesome experience, and afterall, Oye its friday, if you arent partying out(probably out of recession) you can always catch this show!

Overall -

I liked the show, the host was good, the celebrities are not asked the same old boring papparazzi questions like who are you seeing these days, which is your upcoming movie and blah blah!

Some jokes, some oneliners, some gags and a lot of fun!

This one's a powerpacked tequilla shot for your boring fridays!

So, if you are exclaiming "Oye its friday, aaj kya karen?"

"Watch OIF!"
