Extremely poor and bad service. Review on Overnite Express

Overnite Express's service has been horrible that's what I would describe here. This year sometimes I unfortunately chose this brand for shifting a few materials from Coochbehar in West Bengal to Kota in Rajasthan.

I wanted to shift a few utensils and a plastic water filter. On the 13th May I approached a franchisee of this company in Coochbehar. The franchisee owner ensured that the luggage would reach within 7 days.

In Kota I waited for the big sack to arrived. Nut in vain! days passed and passed. In the mean time I kept an eye on the sack in transition and I was surprised to see that it was going on this route Coochbehar-Siliguri-Kolkata-New delhi-Jaipur-Kota.After long wait on the 28th May at night after returning I found the sack lying in front of my door on my rent.

I opened the sack and I was more than shocked to discover that the water filter was totally broken and damaged. The tap fixed with the filter was detached and broken. Plastic strewn was lying here and there. The plastic filter was not expensive but the condition of the filter was such as it could never be used. Actually they wanted to fix the lower portion with the tap protruding outside within the upper portion that contains water for purification.The sack lied in Kolkata office for more than 7 days. Once I called at the office, first they denied that they did not break it and later started avoiding the call.

Later I sent a mail and first replied and presumably later desisted from replying. Then perhaps one employee told someone had signed the paper and it was my land lord and after investigation I got to know they people actually pressurized him to sign it after being told that I returned just after the evening.

Please nobody approach this organization if want to shift any products.If you want to go for consumer forum it is clearly written it is possible in New Delhi according to the jurisdiction of their H.O.
