Actually I purchased some cds and dvds online from webmallindia.com and they were sent to me by Overnite Express Courier company from Mumbai.I belong to small district town Sitamarhi in Bihar.So after courier reached Patna a guy from the courier overnite express called me up and asked me to take my courier from Patna office itself.
Ridiculous, I told them how can I come to Patna just to take courier from my town Sitamarhi which is around 130 kms from Patna.Then he replied that he cannot deliver the courier to Sitamarhi as it comes under no service zone.Then I asked him why Overnite Express accepted the delivery in Mumbai for Sitamarhi when they knew that they do not have service in that area, if they told this before the sender would have sent the product by DTDC , FirstFlight, Fly Kings or Speedpost which have service to my town Sitamarhi.Then they replied that we cannot do any thing and you should take courier from Patna.
Then I told them that it is their fault in accepting the courier in Mumbai so they should sent courier to Sitamarhi by some other courier like DTDC or SpeedPost to Sitamarhi but they refused. So I asked them to send back the courier to Mumbai to sender of the courier so that he can send it by other courier which have service in Sitamarhi. Now ten days have gone and still I have not received the courier.
So my friends please beware of this fraudulent courier company Overnite Express if you really want to ensure the delivery of your product safely and on time.
