Hi All,


First of all this review is not about the Oriflame products as there have been no bad experiences yet except that in online flyer offers the items generally are pretty old and very near to expiry date.


So, actually my wife has joined Oriflame in June 2013 and have been generally collecting the items from their office. The process is quite cumbersome and time consuming but its OK. Then last month we tried their courier service by making online payment, we received our order delivered properly through DTDC though little late considering that it was within city delivery.


Keeping this experience in mind, we again placed an order worth Rs. 2112/- to be delivered through courier. But as some of the items were not available in CP/Janpath branch (Our home branch), we chose delivery from Jasola (another branch, actually HQ of Oriflame in Delhi). The delivery took longer than last time we thought it may be because we chose delivery from another branch but the real shocker came when we opened the box.


Our order was of 8 items and there were only 5 items in the box and when checked in detail the value of missing items were Rs. 1086/- in total so roughly half of the amount paid was missing including the item costing most in the lot. Their invoice was clearly mentioning all the items and there were tick mark against each of the items.


We called customer care next day duly informing the mis-happening. They asked for scanned copy of invoice and assured to look into the matter but after a day received the reply that as weight is matching so nothing can be done. Then we contacted the Janpath branch as its near to our place but the response was same that weight is matching and they can't do anything.


Now we really don't understand what is this weight issue and feeling perplexed that how inadequate grievance/ complaint redressal mechanism the organisation is having as the customer care don't have any solution to resolve the matter and we are not getting and avenue to step up our complaint.


So we are still in hunt to resolve the issue or find some channel to at least express our genuine grievance and put to some authorities who can act on the matter.


Note: I want to add that we received our missing consignment through courier after a week of rigorous follow up. But be assured that it was just out of blue moment for us as we never expected it as we were not getting any positive sign from customer care. The courier guy who delivered just informed that as there was no stock of these items at that time so being delivered now. But this was not mentioned or informed to us nowhere.


We are very happy to receive our items but really don't know that how it happened.
