I got my mother admitted with Dengue positive on August 26th morning and upon asking the doctor on duty in ICU / Casualty whats the current status of Platelet count, he refered to the report I had shared with him which was dated August 24th and mentioned is 1.4, which is fine so no issues.
After lunch nothing was offered to my mother to intake and at around 4:00 p.m. tea was being served and she asked for alternative as she didnt wanted to have it, no one offered her anything whereas, at the time of admission I asked the lady the admission desk if Patient's Diet will be taken care by them, and she promptly mentioned yes, its part of the admission.
To my horror when I called the HOD Gupta, he said we are not running a Five Star Hotel, and its your responsibility to take care of your patients. This Gupta guy seems to be so illiterate and mannerless who doesnt know how to speak to a female.
Then I got my Mother discharged and took her to another hospital, and discharge process also took so long and not only that there was no wheel chair available for 25 minutes.
IS THIS THE MEDICAL FACILITY THAT WE GET.
