Yes! I am making a statement so strong because I have experienced the wost kind of service from Orange.
Orange is supposed to be the best cellular service provider in most parts of the country.. and that is partly true.. it does give better network than most other CSPs. But hold on, they are a full fledged scam team! dedicated to make cellular services a nightmare.
I have been using the Orange service for the last three years. And I was happy till a year ago... Then they began deducting 40-50 Rs consistently from my pre paid account for no apparent reason.. I thot it was because of the fluctuating prices, I later found out from an employee that Orange does it on purpose but not for any apparent reason. I also found out from a LOT of ppl that they're facing the same trouble.. (I should have learnt a lesson here... but what the heck I am human)..
Also for a year almost I had been hunted by the Orange execs to convert to a post paid package..
Three months ago, there was an Orange promotional activity happenin in my office complex. As a part of this promotional scheme, they came around to every office with special packages.. By this time my I used to refill my card almost thrice a month, so when these execs came to my office I decided to give it a try.. They offered me 200 sms free for the first six months and only 50 paise / min call rate with a number which I cud use free of cost!!! obviously it was a BLESSING.. so I opted for it and paid Rs 500
A month went by .. no reply... no follow ups! I called the person who had appraoched me.. he said he was hired only for the promotion and does not work with Orange...
After a lot of fighting and threatening... they finally send me my psot paid card... Fifteen days passed... I get a call to tell me about my billing cycle... ahem...
Exec: Ma'am am calling from Orange, this is to inform you about ur billing cycle
Me: yes.. tell me .. Exec: Your current out going is Rs.400 sumthin ME: WHAT????? Exec: yes Maám Me: but I was told that I wud get free sms and my call charges were low too ..
Exec: well no maám acctually ur package does not give u any of the above.. and I am not sure what ur talkin abt .. pls talk to the exec..i am here only to infor u abt the billing cycle..
Me: ok whatever..
So I tried calling Orange.. No reply .. the line was always busy, when I got thru the customer care (yeah right) execs were VERY rude and they slammed the phone
Now I have taken an off from work and gonna take care of this mess!!
Trust me Orange netwrk may be good but the service sucks They scammed me off!! save urself!!!!!
